Intrastat
INTRASTAT is the system for collecting trade goods statistics among the European Union member states. CZECH INTERNATIONAL, a.s. provides complete elaboration and submits INTRASTAT documents in electronic form for the appropriate board of customs, checks value limits of goods, provides continuous audit, evidence of quantity, value credit note and in case of exceeding the limits set in the given period we can hand in a statement with the "correction" mark. Do not risk penalties imposed for presenting or filling in the INTRASTAT report incorrectly!
Presenting reports follows these rules:
- The obligation to declare data for INTRASTAT applies to entities that exceed the exemption threshold for received or dispatched goods on which data must be declared in INTRASTAT declaration. Herewith they become reporting units,
- Exemption threshold is set for dispatched goods exceeding CZK 4 million in value and for received goods exceeding CZK 2 million in value. It is set separately for received or dispatched goods.
- The reporting unit has to submit a negative report to the relevant customs office for the month in which it does not make any transaction.
- If only a one-time or occasional dispatch or receipt of goods is executed, whereby the obligation to submit declarations for INTRASTAT, is created, it is sufficient that only this one-time or occasional dispatch or receipt is declared on condition that no other dispatch or receipt of goods occurs by the end of the calendar year.
- Entities that have no obligation to submit VAT returns do not have to declare data for INTRASTAT
The
Czech customs administration has extended the possibility of filing
INTRASTAT declarations by using the Portal of the Public Administration of the Czech Republic, specifically the Electronic Submissions service.
CZECH INTERNATIONAL, a.s. has been filing
INTRASTAT declarations in this way since October 2007 with these advantages:
- It enables bidirectional electronic signing data and information sent. It is possible to correct and submit new version immediately
- High degree of data transfer security (encrypted content of INTRASTAT declarations)
- It is interactive communication it informs you immediately whether your declaration has been accepted or rejected, stating the reason of rejection.
